Leading Scientists and Active Authors to Be Honored as Part of InnoWeek-2026

As part of InnoWeek, the International Week of Innovative Ideas, an award ceremony will be held to honor scientists and researchers who have achieved outstanding results in international scientific publishing and bibliometric databases.

Award Categories

Based on the results of 2025, winners will be selected in the following two main categories:

“Leading Author of the Year” — an author whose scientific articles achieved the highest citation impact in 2025.

“Most Active Publisher of the Year” — an author who produced the largest number of scientific publications in international scientific databases in 2025.

One winner will be selected in each category for each scientific field.

Selection Criteria

The selection will be based on indicators from the Scopus and Web of Science (WoS) databases, which are widely used by the international scientific community.

In the international Scopus database — across 27 scientific fields;

In the international Web of Science (WoS) database — authors demonstrating the highest results across 10 scientific fields will be selected.

Important Condition

Authors whose research works were associated with adverse findings during the peer-review process or whose articles were retracted during the competition period are not eligible to participate in the competition.

The award aims to support scientists achieving high results in science, encourage greater activity in international scientific publishing, and further enhance the standing of Uzbekistan’s scientists in the global scientific community.
